Attention all followers!!! The blog has moved!

Hello my lovelies,

I decided to change my blog's name and since I couldn't change this, I made a new one. I'm going to continue my 365 days project at the new blog. The "pasiphae-makeup art" will not be updated anymore but it will remain for the time being for reference purposes and at least until all of my followers come over at the new blog. I'm sorry for the inconvenience and I would really appreciate it if you could press the "Follow" button for me one more time (not here, at the new blog). I hope you like the new blog and keep commenting because I love all your comments!!!

The new blog is Stripes and Scarlets

This name is referring to what attracts bees in flowers (stripped and scarlet colored flowers). So, in a sense, I would like to attract all the "bees" in blogosphere, lol!

You will find today's (first) post here

Day 61 - Addicted to... trousers!

When I saw my outfit and make up pics (especially the one with the coat with the white tiles background), I though of an 80’s photoshoot or video clip. Like the girls in Robert Palmer’s “Addicted to love”. Maybe it’s the dramatic eyes and the bold red lips that bring this to my mind, I don’t know.
I’m wearing a pair of trousers that I bought from Mango many years ago, that was forgotten at the back of my closet. But I saw a very similar pair of trousers in the new Mango winter catalogue (with Olivia Palermo, here) and I thought I could start wearing it again. It adds a few pounds though... :(

Coat: Zara
Turtle neck: Zara
Trousers: Mango
Belt: Vassilios Kostetsos (old)
Boots: Bershka
Bag: Longchamp

Face: Mac full coverage, Kryolan camouflage concealer, Grimas translucent powder
Eyes: 120 e/s color palette, Korres black eyeliner, Korres lengthening mascara
Cheeks: Korres monoi oil bronzing powder
Lips: La Roche-Posay lip pencil in rouge pur, Rainbow (greek brand) lipstick No196

R.I.P. my beloved Chewy...

My darling cat Chewy didn't make it after all! We had to put him to sleep because his was in a terrible condition and his health issues were incurable. I can't even describe how awful I feel. This little guy was the sweetest company for me. I would only look at him or talk to him and that was enough for him to start purring. He would usually sit on my lap and purr and purr and purr! Sometimes he snored very loudly and it was so funny.
He wasn't even 4 years old my poor baby. I found him two and a half years ago in a pet association and fell in love with him at first sight! They didn't tell me that he was ill (he had Leukemia), and when I discovered it a couple of months later I couldn't bring myself to give him back. I knew that someday I would have to deal with his illness and lose him but I was hoping that it wouldn't be this soon. I'm in so much pain right now, but I don't regret having him in my life, not even for a minute! He only gave me love and asked nothing in return.
I don't want my blog or my posts to be depressing so I will not mention this again. But I felt the need to make this small tribute post and a video about Chewy. I owe him at least that much...

Day 60 - New shoes part trois!

This is the last of my shoe purchases and I’m very happy about my choice. I got them at the bargain price of ₤15 from the latest Boohoo mid-season sale. The color appeared beige (to me) on the site, but I don’t mind at all that it turned out to be a lovely light pinkish shade. They are super comfortable and I’m sure I’m going to wear them a lot this winter. The only thing I worry about is how to keep them clean, because the suede-type material and the particular shade are prone to stain!
I’m also wearing my beloved cashmere cardi, that I bought from Oxford Street a few years ago. I can’t remember the store’s name, but it was one that only sells cashmere clothing. If anyone knows the brand/name, please leave a comment below.

Trench: Zara
Cardi: cashmere from London (can't remember the name of the shop)
Jeans: Gas
Belt: Joop
Boots: www.boohoo.com (new)

I’m not wearing make up besides some blush (Elf contouring blush and bronzing powder) and a Korres lipgloss (cherry lipgloss in coral).

Day 59 - Hooded plaid!

Well, I just played with the words, because it is actually a hooded cardi with a plaid shirt. Plain casual outfit for a not so pleasant visit at the vet. I left my baby there for more tests and I keep my fingers crossed that the results will not be disappointing.
I didn’t put any make up on, so there’s no close up (you wouldn’t want to see my eye without any make up at this close!).
Please bear with me for a few days because with Chewy’s situation I’m going through major mood swings!

Hooded cardigan: unknown brand
Shirt and jeans: www.boohoo.com
Tank: Zara
Boots: Rose noir
Belt: old (my brother's)
Bag: Blumarine

How was your weekend?

PS: Today it's my name day! Just so you know... (presents are welcome too, lol)!

Day 58 - Few words!

This outfit is from yesterday’s lunch with my parents and the pics where taken at a nearby park. I don’t feel like writing much because my beloved cat Chewy is very sick and I’m afraid he’s not going to make it. If you read my blog you know that he suffers from Leukemia and up until last week he was fairly well except from a stomatitis that made his teeth and gums hurt. I was feeding him with a syringe, but other than that he was playful and purring all the time.
But the last 3 days the illness kicked in and got to his liver and who knows how many other organs. He can’t eat or drink at all, he can barely walk and he’s in a terrible condition. I will take him to the vet this afternoon and we’ll see if there’s anything we can do to prolong his life or if this is the end. I am devastated! I love him so much and he’s always been so nice and cuddly. I can’t believe I’m going to lose him!
I’m sorry if I depressed you but it’s just the way I feel....

Jacket: Zara
Knit: old (Shetland wool)
Trousers: www.boohoo.com (new)
Socks: can’t remember where I got them
Shoes: Zara
Bag: H&M (new)

Face: Korres watermelon oil free tinted moisturizer SPF 30, Nivea perfect cover concealer, Mac mineralize skin finish natural
Eyes: Benefit soft shoulder, NYX ultra pearl mania in grass pearl at the lower lash line, Bourjois black eyeliner, Benefit badgal lash mascara
Cheeks: Elf contouring blush and bronzing powder
Lips: Elf super lipshine

I have to and I want to continue posting my outfits because it helps me take my mind off the whole thing. I don’t know how I’m going to be feeling tomorrow, but if you see me wearing black, you’ll understand!

Day 57 - Surprise party!

Last night I went to a surprise birthday party that my friend’s boyfriend threw for her. They would supposedly go out for a drink to celebrate her birthday (just the two of them), but we were all there to surprise her. The look on her face when she walked in and saw us at the bar was priceless!
It has started to get pretty cold here but I didn’t care. I wore my new Tally Weijl skirt with my new shoe boots (that you first saw here) and a Nara Camicie shirt with some nice crochet details that my mom had bought from Italy ages ago. That's why you should’t throw out your old clothes, because you never know what might come back in fashion!
