Day 28 - Caretta caretta!

I was struggling to find something to write about this outfit and I found it: I’m wearing a turtle pendant. You would say that there’s nothing special about that, other than it is a lovely piece of jewelry. But there is! Are you familiar with the loggerhead sea turtle called Caretta caretta? It is found on some tropical oceans as well as in the island of Zakynthos in Greece, and it is considered an endangered species.
Well, a few years ago, I was with a friend and someone misunderstood my name and called me Caretta (my name is Arietta)! We had a laugh and my friend has been calling me Caretta ever since...
And I really don’t mind having this nickname. After all, I am an endangered species too, aren’t I? LOL!
