Day 1 - 80’s inspired look!

The game is afoot! This is the first post for the project and it’s about the outfit I wore last night, to go out with some friends. The dress is brand-new, I got it this summer from Desire clothing and the shoes are Comme il Faut, a brand from Buenos Aires that makes tango shoes. I bought these a year ago for the milongas (places where you dance to tango argentino) and they are very comfy and glamorous too. The designs are beautiful and different for every size. They are not like the typical dance shoes that you cannot wear outside the dance floor, so they're like a pair of evening shoes. They don’t come cheap, but it’s a good investment (at least that’s my excuse!).
The long sliver earrings together with the dress (with the padded shoulders and all) create an 80’s feel, which I like.
Make up wise, I did a classic smokey eye with silver and grey-black, and added a purple eyeliner on the bottom lash line to make it more bright and summery.

Dress: www.desireclothing.co.uk
Shoes: you can find Comme il faut shoes at www.lisadore.com
Accessories: bracelet from a cheap random shop in my city, earrings bought in the island of Tinos and ring from a street market in a greek island (I don’t remember which one!!!)

Face: Avon perfectwear foundation, ELF HD powder
Eyes: NYX smokey eye palette, Korres black eyeliner, Bourjois duochrome eyeliner in 59 violet rosé, Avon super extend mascara
Cheeks: NYX blush in silky rose
Lips: Exclusive elegance double lipgloss (the number has faded so I don’t know the shade)

See you tomorrow with my next post (that's a first for me, lol!)

  4. @ tina_mbc: Thank you sweetie! If you mean dancing with the stars and the similar you are right. I hated the shoes there. You can be fashionable and comfortable with Comme il faut, so why wear the same boring dancing shoes?! (PS: I'm not getting paid by them, I just love their shoes!!!).
